LEVEL 9
This level helps students to further develop their work with fractions (using
the four operations),
factors (introducing Greatest Common Factor and Least Common Multiple), and
pre-algebra (substituting
in for two variables). Also, decimals are introduced in their relation to
fractions.
Sublevel 9.1
Students will practice using the four basic operations with fractions, including
simplifying.
Sublevel 9.2
This level furthers practice with factors, prime numbers, and composite numbers,
through
multiplication and division.
Sublevel 9.3
Review and reinforcement of concepts covered in previous sections.
Sublevel 9.4
Here, students further develop their skills with factors, working with the
concepts of Greatest Common
Factor (GCF) and Least Common Multiple (LCM).
Sublevel 9.5
At this level, decimals (up to the thousandths’ place) are introduced in their
relationship to
fractions.
Sublevel 9.6
This level further develops the basic concepts of pre-algebra skills, with
practicing substituting in
for two variables and combining like terms, in equations.
Final Review & Test
Students will review all the skills covered at this level. After the review
process, there will be a
final test to make sure conceptual understanding is developing properly, before
moving ahead.
